ST ELPHIN'S School in Darley Dale celebrated 100 years on its current site on Friday with a series of activities.
Pupils and staff dressed up in period costume, and also as characters from the Just William series of books, as author Richmal Crompton was a former pupil and teacher at the school.
A chapel service was followed by exhibitions in drama and music, and a time capsule was buried for future generations. A celebration cake was also made for the occasion."
