Over the years a Prospectus was published for St Elphin's School. I have had to guess the publication dates of some of the Prospectuses as there isn't an actual date printed on them! Some of the issues are very similar but, due to change of Head, they were reissued. It's interesting to see how the production has gone from a very formal and typical education layout, to a modern full-colour version.
In the 1960 Prospectus Miss P. M. Robinson was Head Mistress. It makes reference to the food being of the best quality, ample and varied – I wonder how many ‘old’ girls will actually agree!
It is interesting to note the cost of School fees in 1960, compared to those in 2004! £90 to £4,985 per term for boarders, £30 to £2,336 for Senior Day Girls and £26 to £1,697 for Junior Day Girls. Music, elocution and ballet lessons were all available at an additional cost of between £4 4s - £140 and £2 2s - £50 per term!
Below are two invoices for School Fees etc from 1966 and 1967 which Sally Campbell (Edeson) has kindly sent in. Sally was in Kennedy House from 1967 to 1973. Please click on the images for lager versions.

There were also some interim brochures/booklets printed which are included at the bottom of this page followed by two Yearly Calendars.

Yearly Calendars – Click either image below to see full version
It is with some sadness that the 'Amended Yearly Calendar 2004/5' was published as it was the final Calendar and, indeed, not all the events were seen through as the school closed down on 11th March, 2005.
